Philadelphia put up 30 points for the second time in four games (never scored 30 in a game last season) and didn't punt once -- the first time the Eagles did that since 1981.The defense was historically bad, allowing 40 points for the second consecutive game -- just the fourth time in franchise history the Eagles allowed 40-plus points in back-to-back games (1943, 1966, 2015). The Chiefs finished 9 of 10 on third down, the highest mark in an game since the 2008 accomplished the feat against the 0-16 .Even though the Eagles looked competent, they still turned in an embarra sing performance as Philadelphia is off to a 1-3 start for the second consecutive year. The Eagles moved the ball on offense, but Sanders just wasn't involved enough. Perhaps the Eagles would be better in the red zone if they gave Sanders the football.The Eagles aren't deep at wide receiver, yet Ward doesn't get many opportunities to produce. On his one opportunity Sunday when the game was in reach, Ward dropped a touchdown catch in the end zone that would have given the Eagles the lead late in the second quarter.This came after a penalty on nullified a touchdown (that was offsetting thanks to a personal foul by ), setting up a first-and-goal at the 3-yard line. The throw from Hurts could have been better, but Ward needed to haul that pa s in for the easy score. Another wide receiver that continues to be on the roster, yet doesn't provide much. Used primarily on special teams and as a blocker, Arcega-Whiteside committed a penalty on a fourth-and-goal that nullified a Jalen Hurts touchdown pa s to that would have cut the Eagles deficit to 21-19 in the third quarter (at the very least).The offensive pa s interference call (albeit a questionable one) put the Eagles back 10 yards and forced Sirianni to kick a field goal.
